Hello G.O.D.S!
Thank you to all who came to yesterday’s Cuban style dance class!
And extra thanks to Mati and Florrie for teaching us all! It was great to learn some nonchalant salsa moves!
Next up we have our G.O.D.S Extravaganza……..A whole day of West African drumming and dancing!
Led by Paul Dear and Sens Sagna…all the way from West Yorkshire and Senegal !
Sunday 6th May 11- 4 pm! @ Kinning Park Complex ! ! ! (40 Cornwall St ,Glasgow G41 1AQ, right opposite Kinning Park tube station)
11 - 1pm African Drumming
1 - 2 pm Big lunch provided by G.O.D.S
2 - 4pm African Dancing
Everyone is invited to take part in the whole day or just half of the day, morning or afternoon! And of course…either way…you are all invited for lunch!
If any of you are keen and confident drummers, Paul Dear is looking for a small group of core drummers to drum for the dance class in the afternoon. Please let us know if any of you are interested in doing this!
The room at Kinning Park is pretty big and we hope to fill the class with many many people but spaces are limited so please RSVP if you are interested!
Drums will be provided so just turn up in comfy clothes for the dancing part!
